Annual Inspection of BN Dockyard 2025

Annual inspection 2025 of BN DOCKYARD held on 10 sep 2025, Area Superintendent Dockyard visited various workshops, CNRD, IFF Centre, and sailors mess. He appreciated the overall standard of maintenance and professionalism of the personnel. The workshops were found well-organized with satisfactory progress in ongoing tasks. The CNRD and IFF Centre were observed functioning efficiently with commendable technical standards. The inspecting officer advised maintaining continuous improvement in safety, quality, and timely completion of all assigned works.

Memorandum of Understanding signed between CUET and CNRD

On 18 August (Monday) 2025, the MoU Signing Ceremony organized at the Central Wardroom of CNRD. The MoU was signed on behalf of CUET by Professor Dr. Md. Jahedul Islam, Head of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) of CUET and by Captain Mahmudul Haque Majumder, Director of CNRD. At that time, The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of CUET, Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Professor Dr. Md. Azad Hossain, Professor of the Department of ETE, was present on behalf of CUET and Rear Admiral Md. Ruhul Minhaj (ASD), and high-ranking officials of CNRD were present on behalf of CNRD. It is worth noting that through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding; both institutions will be able to jointly conduct research activities. As a result of this agreement, the two institutions will be able to jointly conduct research and training activities related to marine and naval technology. As a result, both institutions will benefit equally in terms of technological innovation, knowledge exchange and the creation of skilled human resources.

BN Dockyard Annual Tree Plantation Drive - 2025

On 25 June 2025 at 1300 hrs, the ASD organization annual tree planting drive-2025 was held in front of the BN Dockyard Guardroom. The Area Superintendent of the Dockyard planted a tree at the event. The military and civilian officers and employees of the organization who attended the event participated in the prayer after the tree planting ceremony

Reception ceremony for meritorious students

A reception ceremony was held for meritorious students at the ASD Conference Room on 18 June 2025. The scholarship recipients and their guardians were present at the ceremony. The ASD and officers were present as the chief guests at the ceremony. Area Superintendent Dockyard presented the awards to the scholarship recipients.

Holy Eid ul Adha Celebration at BN Dockyard 2025

Holy Eid ul Adha was celebrated with due dignity and enthusiasm at BN Dockyard on 07 June 2025. The Chief Guest, ASD, was present at the event. ASD exchanged Eid ul Adha greetings among everyone. On the occasion of the day,premium food was served to all the naval members living inside and on duty in the messes of all the ships and docks under ASD.
